Fabulous Pricilla Pie

Hello! I know I should be working on building up the backbones of this site
but I just can't seem to pull myself away from my Copics and the beautiful Digi Stamps from Saturated Canary. Krista creates such amazing stamps.

I absolutely love coloring them and, for whatever reason, I seem to find that lot of them either resemble, or would be perfect for, someone I know.
This is one of those images.

Meet Pricilla Pie from Saturated Canary.
I kept looking at her every time I was over at Krista's store - she sooo reminded me of one of our employees, I just knew I had to get it and work it up for her.

I'm still just starting out, as far as card making goes, so I don't really have a huge stash of stuff to use.  Thankfully  I do have a pack of Shrinky Dinks so when I need just the right
embellishment, in just the right shade, I can go and make one.  Of course it's not the same as having a real ribbon bow but it is dimensional and sometimes even works better than what I might have used if my stash had been larger.

That is what I did when my mind's eye envisioned a cute little pen attached to the tag (to go with the sentiment), but couldn't find anything in my local craft store - and I manage the store so chances are if it existed in the form that I wanted I certainly would have found it.

It's what I used for the two pink bows as well.  Unfortunately I forgot to lighten my images the first time so that when they baked up they actually turned out purple!  That's okay though, I'm sure I'll eventually need a little purple bow for something.

Sentiment:  "When writing the story of your life don't let anyone else hold the pen."  Saw this on a Harley Davidson Poster and loved it.  Worked it up in PSP and printed it on Cryogen Luxury Cardstock.
Papers: Recollections  (Black & White Pad), DCWV (The Primrose Stack), Michaels - from the Fun Finds Section.
Die: Sizzix Lace & Circles (cut from Parchment Baking Paper - it has a really delicate, fairly transparent, appearance - sorta like vellum.
Embellishments: Music Tissue Tape - Tim Holtz, Liquid Pearls - Ranger (oddly my 3-pack didn't list any color names - anywhere),  Rhinestones & Pearls - Michael's,  Thin Silver Cording - from my christmas stash, Shrinky Dinks (Bows, Pens and "Fabulous," Glossy Accents - Ranger (on the lips), pink & black Floss for the stitching - I don't currently own a sewing machine, this is all hand stitched but I enjoyed doing it while watching TV...I love multi-tasking.
Copics:  E000, E1, E2, E35, E99, C00, C1, C2, C4, C5, C6, C7, C8, 100, R2, R11, R20, R81, R83, R85,  Y21,
Misc: White Sakura Jelly Pen, Black Sakura Multiliner .01, Spica atyou glitter pens in clear, silver & gold.  There is clear glitter on her eyelids, gold glitter on the dress design, stockings & ring band, and silver glitter on her diamond & it's "sparkle."
